Sussex Willow Coffins – Service Update (COVID-19)

We would like to let all of our customers know that with challenges to work through as a nation it’s business as usual at Sussex Willow Coffins. We will be working tirelessly through these unprecedented times to continue providing our locally crafted products to the funeral trade and families directly.

Coffin Makers: Designated Key Workers

As a designated key worker occupation we will be continuing to work in accordance with government guideline and upping production to meet the needs of the public in these fast moving times.

Be assured that this will not affect our ability to look after our customers needs; working with funeral directors and other professionals to deliver a personal service.

Coffin Making: Willow Supply Chain

We are keeping a close eye on the supply chain of our coffin making materials and are in a fortunate position of growing a lot of our own willow used for weaving.

We are confident that regardless of any issues with national transport networks that may occur, we will be able to continue to serve in our nations time of need.

Coffin Delivery Continuity

We use a selection of reputable couriers for coffin deliveries, BBA Couriers take care of local same day deliveries with Fedex supplying our national UK deliveries. This is a same day delivery nationwide within the UK from time of dispatch.

We are also prepared to manage deliveries in house if necessary to guarantee swift delivery in these uncertain times.

Last Minute Coffin Orders

We are able to offer an express coffin making service for any last minute coffin orders, do get in touch to discuss your needs.

FFMA Certified & Supported

Through meetings and discussion with the FBCA, ICCM, APCC & CSGB, the FFMA has developed the most comprehensive coffin, casket and shroud certification scheme within the industry.

Coffin Making: Workshop Visits

Unfortunately the undue risk caused by having additional people in our workshop at the moment, does mean we have put a halt on any non-vital visitors.
